Sherrie Moran

           Sherrie was born and raised in Stockton and is the oldest of five children. Her father, the late Kenneth F. Haney was a minister and was also the founder of KYCC Radio. Sherrie has many fond memories growing up in the country with all the excitement country living brings such as horseback riding, raising animals and riding dirt bikes.

           She began working at KYCC in 1986 and in 1987 was asked to host the Morning Show, which she did until the summer of 1995, when she relocated to Sherman Oaks, California. In 2007 she returned to Stockton and rejoined the KYCC staff as the Afternoon Host and currently still holds that position.

           Sherrie is married to Tim Moran, Pastor of Life Church in Stockton and together they have four young men, Jason, Timothy, Dylan, and Dawson, two daughters-in-law, Katie and Rachel and a grandson named Wesley!

           Sherrie enjoys hosting gatherings at their home for church events, friends, and family. The kitchen is one of her happy places as she loves to cook and bake. She's also very fond of gardening, thrifting, and anything outdoors!

           Her greatest passion is kingdom work, whether leading worship, teaching bible studies or ministering on KYCC. One of her favorite scriptures is Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you”. It all begins with seeking God first.
