Laura Lynn

Weekend Host

Laura was born and raised in Northern Michigan.  You could often find her outside either with a Bible, a gun, a hammer, a wrench, or a garden hoe in her hand.  After the tragic loss of her father at age 9, she was blessed with the love and support of her “grandaddy” who taught her all the things he would have taught a son.  To this day, she speaks of him almost daily and he is the main reason she is in a life of ministry today.

Laura moved to Stockton in 1990 and was immediately interested in KCJH/KYCC.  She volunteered many years at the annual Spring Share-A-Thon and Fall Celebration.  In March of 2022 she finally realized her dreams of being an on-air host on KYCC.

Her pride and joy are her husband of 34+ years and her kids.  But the brightest light in her heart are her twin grandsons, Zeke and Zac; and she is very happy to be adding a granddaughter to that list in the summer of 2023.

Laura’s favorite Scripture is Lamentations 3:22-23, “It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
